Palolo Magic

Friday, September 22nd, 2006

Palolo Elementary School’s alumni showed up in full force at the 25th year reunion. Friends, laughter, and that old Palolo spirit was the right formula for good times together. Palolo classmates, please plan on being a part of the 30th year celebration in Las Vegas! We need your luck and charm!

Warmest thanks to Baron Sekiya, web guy extraordinaire, who helped make this website possible. He designed the site and is hosting it on his server in Kailua-Kona! This site provides another avenue of communication with you, our classmates.

Visit often to keep up-to-date with reunion happenings and talk story with us as we take trips down memory lane. The committee will do its best to make it interactive and current so join the fun and participate whenever you have something to say!

*UPDATE* The site now has a Forums area so people can talk-story. The link is in the sidebar on the right. So go ahead and register in the forum area.

We are Waikiki

Thursday, August 24th, 2006

Growing up in Kapahulu was a kid’s dream. Hanging out at Paki Park, slush floats at Burgerland, the waves at Waikiki Beach, and good friends on every block. It’s no wonder that no matter how far they roam, the kids from Waikiki Elementary School will always have an enduring connection with the little town at the foot of Diamond Head.

At KHS’s 25th reunion, a nice showing of Waikiki El. classmates attended and got reconnected. C’mon Waikiki alumni, be a part of the 30th year reunion. It’ll be like coming home.

These folks like to party so much, they had a 10 year reunion after graduating from the sixth grade!
