Two thousand seven will mark 30 years since we wore our caps and gowns at the Waikiki Shell to say farewell to our alma mater and hello to the world. How fitting that our 30th “Diamond” anniversary will be held in Las Vegas, the city that glitters all the time! To commemorate this milestone occasion, you are invited to take part in the reunion festivities that will be held in early October 2007.

The reunion will be upon us before we know it so we are in high gear to make arrangements for a successful gathering. We have some updated information that we’d like to pass on to you.

The reunion dinner celebration will be held on the evening of Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Main Street Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. Rekindle old friendships and make new connections with people from our graduating class! Your significant other and children are welcome to attend.

Please take the time to read through your flyer and secure your spot at the reunion dinner by submitting your completed form and payment by January 30, 2007.

On the evening of Sunday, October 7, a slot tournament will be held at the Main Street Hotel. Try your luck at the tournament, which will be open to you and your guests who are 21 years and older.

Vacations Hawaii presently has two packages on hold with locked in rates for our class reunion. Each package is a 5-night, 6-day package that will include: air fare, ground transportation, baggage handling, hotel accommodations and three meals a day.

Phone Vacations Hawaii at 591-4777 and speak with an agent to make your reservations. If you choose to go with either of the packages on hold for our class, refer to the code on the flyer. October is a very busy month in Las Vegas, therefore, it is highly recommended that you make your travel plans soon as all packages are subject to availability and they will sell out quickly.

Other packages are available as well. Please visit www.boydvacationshawaii.com to find a package that suits you and call when you are ready to book your travel arrangements.

Of course, you have the option to make travel arrangements on your own. The ideal window for making your plans is from about October 3 through October 9.

We hope that you’re looking forward to reuniting with your high school buddies at our 30th reunion celebration in Las Vegas on October 6, 2007! Please don’t delay, make your travel plans and send in your dinner check by January 30!

From our families to yours, may you have a warm and happy holiday season and a new year filled with good times, old (high school) friends and laughter!

A Las Vegas Reunion!

October 1st, 2006

Aloha, Kaimuki Class of ’77!

Welcome to your reunion home page!

As the year 2007 approaches, your classmates are warming up the turntable and shaking out their bell bottom pants to put together a 30th year reunion that’s sure to shake your groove thang. Get ready, Bulldogs, we’re going to the city that never sleeps, Las Vegas!

Please mark your calendars and save the beginning of October 2007 for this milestone event. You don’t want to miss out on this one! Plans are still under construction and we’ll keep you informed with firmer details through mailings and postings to this site.

Remember when ten cents could pay for a phone call or bus ride? Your ten cents are welcome! If you would like to be a part of the planning committee or have suggestions on ways to make the reunion as successful as it can be, please contact us. You can send an email to any of the committee members or reply to this site.

Put this in your email address book and write to us: baron@mediabaron.com

And by all means, spread the word. The more who attend, the more fun we’ll have and the more we’ll have to live up to the slogan, “what happens in Las Vegas, stays in Las Vegas!”

Send in your reunion flyer soon! It won’t be the same without you!

Your Reunion Committee,
Pam, Nancy, Eddie, Aldene, Mingy, Laura, Donna, Dell, Baron, Wendy (and, hopefully, you too!)
